We haven’t heard Titiek Puspa’s songs for quite sometime. But now, those  songs will entertain your musical sense again. Tohpati Ario Hutomo known as Tohpati will make a re-touch and transform the songs to such  arrangement that will sooth your ears.

Being asked to re-touch the songs makes Tohpati happy and proud about  it. For him, Titiek Puspa is a legendary female singer who still exists as a singer and composer. At her age which is almost 70th years old, her voice  is still melodious. Her power is even still strong to stage a performance.

He admitted that sometime he has some difficulties to make a schedule for a great singer who he calls “Tante Titiek”. “Titiek Puspa is one of Indonesian singers who has no comparison at her age. Usually, in that age, many women are not productive anymore.”

Tohpati likes songs such as Si Hitam that has a rock and roll tune and a traditional Sundanese song like Bubuy Bulan. These two songs are recomposed by this prominent guitarist.

In the soon launched CD, former hits including Bengawan Solo, Bubuy Bulan, Chandra Buana will be re-touch. Those songs made its highest popularity when Titiek was Bintang Radio in Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI ), state owned radio station. Other songs which will be in the CD are Si Hitam, Putih, Kasih diantara Remaja, and her new song, Terimakasih.

Almost all of her song is dedicated to music fans who crave to remember the old time. Do you have nostalgia with those songs?
